What is Traveling Treats?
Traveling Treats is a recipe blog and resource website for anybody wanting to eat healthier. It was created with travelers in mind, but homebodies can benefit just as much! I’ll try to compile all the information that I have on how to eat healthy on to this website, and update regularly to keep up on new changes in food technology.
It’s hard enough to create new, healthier habits in your life, but it’s even more difficult when you don’t know where to start. That’s the aim of this website; to give people a resource for all the information they need to make healthy, easy, good tasting food.
It’s common to hear the complaint that sweet treats aren’t as good when they’re made “healthy.” Well, this doesn’t have to be the case. With a little bit of effort and thought, sweet treats (and other food) can be made to be just as good as the “regular” option; in the end, you might not even know the difference!
All of my recipes are gluten-free and dairy-free, and the vast majority are completely vegan. If the recipe follows other particular dietary specifications, it will be labeled accordingly (sugar-free, paleo, etc.).
